Love and Friendship by William
Shakespeare
Blow, blow, thou winter wind,..............
Theme: Human ingratitude, unfaithfulness, pretence and
selfishness are expressed in the poem. A man can forget his friend who helps
him in time of his need and danger. Nothing in the world is as painful as
unkindness and ingratitude of mankind. Therefore, the speaker of the poem wants
to say that nature is benevolent, generous and helpful.
